TIPS and TRICKS
Here are some extra phone tips for the AVAYA one-X 1608:
Press the SPEAKER Button to change the phone into speaker mode. Once in speaker mode the hand set can be placed back onto the phone and it won’t hang up!
The - and + buttons change the volume of the phone which changes the volume of the caller, and all button press noises. Ring Tone Volume will remain the same though.
Missed a call? Do not worry the CALL LOG button allows you to quickly call back as well as check for voice messages you may have received.
Need to tell your class to be quite while your on the phone? Just press the MUTE button. Don’t forget to unmute before you start speaking again though.
And the final tip, The DISPLAY buttons are probably the most useful buttons. Allowing you to perform actions that the display screen says, like: calls, back, exit, list and many more depending on what your screen says. They are located just underneath the display screen and there are 3 of them.
