Student access to Microsoft Apps - Chromebook

As we have just migrated to Microsoft we are now using the Microsoft Suite instead of the Google Suite. To accommodate for this we have given all Chromebooks (JS or HS) access to these applications online. To help our students acclimatize to this change we have put the applications in the task bar for ease of access.

In this process we have noticed that not all apps appear in the task bar for every Chromebook. Please see below how to work around this issue.

 Instructions

Please guide your students through this process:

  1. Open any appearing Microsoft application from the task bar.

  2. Click on the 9 Dots located in the top left corer of the page.

  3. Select the desired application (for this example we will select Excel)
