TIPS and TRICKS
Here are some extra phone tips for the AVAYA J169:
Press the speaker button to simply change the phone into speaker mode. once in speaker mode the hand set can be placed back on the phone without it hanging up.
Someone a little to quite? Turn them up quickly with the volume buttons. They even work when in speaker mode. They increase the volume of all noises including button presses. Except for your ring tone.
Forgot who you just called, need to call back, check messages or check the number that called you? If only you could find out all that information quickly. You can! with the press of the Call Log button the phones history is at your fingertips.
The big mic button at the bottom is the mute button. Very handy when you need to speak to someone else while on the phone.
This is a special phone, it has 12 display buttons. This means there is a lot on the display screen since there are 12 options available most of the time. The side buttons are mainly used for transferring calls and the bottom buttons are used for immediate actions such as: Cancel, Exit, Call, Back, List, Details etc.
