Direqt Messaging - SEQTA Learn
Direqt messaging allows the sending of messages and attachments through SEQTA between staff and students and staff and parents.
Instructions
Pre-Requisites
Be logged into SEQTA (click here to learn how to log into SEQTA)
The first page you see will be the welcome page

2. On the left-hand side in the menu click, then Direqt Messages
Mobile Devices: the menu is represented by three lines (top left)

3. You will now be on the Direqt messaging page. To view a message
Web Browser: Select a message from the pane to the left of the message.
Mobile Device: Click on the sender's name.

Click on ‘<Back’ (top left) to return to the previous screen.
4. To create a new message:
Web Browser: Click ‘New Message’
Mobile Device: Click on the ‘Pen and Paper’ icon bottom right.

5. Fill in your message, and subjectÂ

6. Web Browsers: To select the staff that you would like to send this to click on Select Staff on the right-hand side. You start typing to find the right person you need. Once you have composed your message click Send at the top right
Mobile Devices: You can type in the ‘To’ box of you can scroll through the list of staff. If you need to select multiple staff click on the + sign and you will be able to select multiple staff by sliding the dot to show green.

When you select the + sign this is what will appear. Click done to go back to the previous screen.

7. If you have received a Direqt Message and would like to reply or forward it on then
Web Browser: select the option at the top right
Mobile Devices: select the arrow at the bottom right, then select forward or reply.

8. Type in your message and add an attachment before selecting send at the top right. To add an attachment:
Web Browser: select ‘add files’
Mobile Device: click ‘add attachment’
