MS Teams: Editing Files IOS

This article resolves issues related to: Unable to edit files in Microsoft Teams.

Microsoft Teams for IOS doesn’t allow file editing by default. Luckily there is a very simple work around.

 Instructions

  1. Open the desired file in teams by pressing on it

  2. After the file has loaded up please press the pencil symbol up the top right.

  3. This will redirect you to the Microsoft office app where the file will be opened and editable.

  4. In order to edit you may be required to sign in, if this is the case please sign in when prompted.
