This article will show you how to access zoom meeting on your device at CCS
Pre-requisites
Zoom will be automatically installed if you have a school device
Important Note
Students should NOT log in or attempt to login to zoom. Students can join the meeting by clicking link.
When students are prompted for a display name, they should type in their full name so that the teacher can identify them before joining the meeting.
Find the link your teacher has sent you either in Direct Message or in your online class and click on it.
The link will look something like this

Once you have clicked the link to join the Zoom meeting, your Chromebook will automatically open a new tab and then open the Zoom application installed on your Chromebook. Follow these steps:
2. You will now be placed into the meeting room until the teacher admits you 3. On the bottom left-hand screen if the teacher allows you to use the microphone and video please click on “Unmute” and “Start Video”. If you would like to see everyone in the meeting then at the top right select “Gallery View” |
iPad Instructions Once you have clicked the link to join the Zoom meeting, your iPad will automatically open a new tab and then open the Zoom application installed on your iPad. Follow these steps:
2. If this is the first time you have used Zoom on your iPad then you may need to give Zoom permission to use the microphone and camera 3. You will now be placed into the meeting room until the teacher admits you 4. So that others can hear you and you can hear them please select Call using Internet Audio if prompted to do so 5. You should now be participating in the meeting. On the top taskbar if the teacher allows you to use the microphone and video please click on “Unmute” and “Start Video”. If you would like to see everyone in the meeting then at the top right select “Gallery View” |
