As we move away from google and its supporting apps like google drive we are moving toward a new file storage. SharePoint in Teams. This feature is easy to use and incorporates simple communication and collaboration with the whole team
Using SharePoint Teams:
The following is the process to using SharePoint file storage in Microsoft teams.File storage in Microsoft Teams can be accessed by following the examples below
Navigating a Channels Files

Click on the application pinned to the left tab under chat and teams. Alternatively you can click on your profile picture at the top of the screen and select Files. You can then browse files by folder or search for specific files using the search bar.
Uploading to My Files
Click on the application pinned to the left tab under chat and teams. Alternatively click on your profile picture at the top of the screen and select Files. You can then click on the This feature works in much the same way as uploading in a team. Select the Upload button to upload files from your computer.
Creating Folders in My Files
Click on the application pinned to the left tab under chat and teams. Alternatively click on your profile picture at the top of the screen and select Files. This feature works in much the same way as Creating Folders in a Team. You can then click on the New > folder button to create a new folder.
